MoU Signed Between SIA India and MERI Group of Institutions

SIA-India and MERI Group of Institutions hosted a meeting of the Space Strategic Group and signed an MoU to support Skill India in the space sector.
The engagement brought together senior defence veterans, policy experts, industry leaders, and academicians for dialogue on India’s expanding space ecosystem. Through the Department of Space Studies, MERI reaffirmed its commitment to preparing future-ready talent by fostering industry collaboration, research-led learning, and capability development.

The Management Education and Research Institute (MERI) marked a key academic milestone with the launch of its Department of Space Studies, inaugurated by Sh. I. P. Aggrawal, Chairman, MERI Group of Institutions. Held with strong academic enthusiasm, the programme reaffirmed MERI’s commitment to futuristic and interdisciplinary education. The unveiling of the department’s digital logo highlighted the expanding scope of space science—integrating technology, management, policy, and innovation in alignment with India’s emergence as a techno-economic power.
