GeoAI Conference 2026
Transforming Spatial Intelligence for Sustainable Development, Smart Governance, and Military Applications.
Date: 14th May, 2026
Venue: MERI Group of Institutions, Janakpuri, New Delhi
Organized by: MERI Department of Space Studies and Space Industry Association of India
About the Conference
The conference is a national-level initiative focused on exploring the integration of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance spatial intelligence and decision-making. With rapid advancements in geospatial technologies, AI-driven analytics, and satellite-based data systems, these technologies are transforming governance, infrastructure planning, and sustainable development.
GIS enables the mapping and analysis of spatial data related to land use, infrastructure, environment, and population dynamics, while AI enhances these capabilities through predictive analytics, automation, and intelligent data interpretation. The convergence of these technologies supports real-time insights, efficient planning, and evidence-based policy development.
This conference provides a platform for researchers, policymakers, industry experts, and academicians to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and explore innovative solutions for smart governance, environmental resilience, and national security applications.
